This week in class we have been learning about Advent and what it means. We now know that Advent is a time of waiting, hoping believing. We know that it is the time leading up to Christmas time and the birth of Jesus. We have each made a Santa Advent Calendar. Each day we cover a number with a cotton wool ball so at the end of Advent he will have a full beard of cotton wool. We have also made and Advent Wreath. We all traced around our hands on green paper and then cut them out to stick together to form a wreath. We are enjoying learning about Advent and the time leading up to Christmas.
